For a long time I believed I should live for the moment, forever in the infinite now with not a care about what the future might hold...

Butttt I’ve been thinking about that a lot lately and can’t help but feel that it’s in fact a bit of a contradiction to the underlining ideology that living in the present will lead to a life of #noregrets

There’s a heck of a long time until I’m 87 years old; bald, with glasses, a six pack and confined to a rocking chair...And so thinking about how I want to spend the vastly expansive time that awaits until then in a way that is going to leave me most satisfied and content then would mean that the present, the moment, the now might not necessarily be the most enjoyable for that very second, but in the long term it’ll be the fruit that tastes the sweetest, innit?
